The heating element is completely cast in the center of a thick aluminum ring. This allows the heater to operate at a cooler temperature, which will lengthen the lifespan of the heater.

The unit is thermostatically controlled with an automatic shut-off, and will attach to our 88R Guard for use in a plastic tank. There is a three year warranty on this product.
